OPTO, a global leader in optical imaging solutions, is excited to launch the first research-grade instrument, A64:1010 Full Automated AA Laser Conflocal MicroScope. By fully motorized, laser confocal optics, APO objectives, high speed hardware scanning, and intelligent 3D reconstruction, the system is designed to be used for applications in life science, materials science, nanotechnology, and semiconductor inspection. It provides sub-micron optical sectioning and high quality 3D imagery, which marks a breakthrough in recent developments in domestically designed high-end microscopy.
The A64.1010 features comprehensive motorization:
Multi-wavelength laser (405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 640 nm); pinhole optical path; high sensitivity PMT/CMOS detectors; out-of-focus light; excellent contrast; signal-to-noise ratio; optical clarity; APO objectives for good color accuracy; full set of infinity-corrected APO plan apochromat goals (10x/0.45, 20x/ 0.75, 40x/2.20 water, 100x/1.40 oil) to correct chromatic aberration in all visible regions, and accurate alignment of multi-color fluorescence signal (for quantitative co-localization).
Unlike other software-based systems, the A64.1010 uses a dedicated hardware scanning engine:
OPTO-View Pro, the intuitive software for Windows and Linux. automation scripting and third-party data export (TIFF, OME-TIFF and AVI) and integration to scientific workflow
The OPTO-EDU A64.1010 Fully Automated APO Laser Confocal Microscope is now open for global orders. Custom configurations (e.g. two-photon extensions, FRAP/FLIP, environmental control chambers) are available. A live demo or a trial unit can be found at cnoec.com.
